Privacy

  • When registering on eu-gestocigars.store, the customer tacitly consents to receive information of an advertising nature via e-mail and mail.
  • The customer can unregister at any moment, easily and free of charge, by following the instructions in the respective message.
  • We transmit personal data to a third party only when it is essential for the proper execution of the order or payment (for example to Swiss Post, the transport firm, or a collection agency in case of non-payment). Your information is treated with the utmost confidentiality.
  • We maintain the right to use information on purchasing behaviour anonymously for commercial purposes.

Prices

  • All prices include Swiss VAT at the applicable rate.
  • The prices displayed at the moment the customer places the order are valid.
  • Shipment fees vary according to weight.
  • Our prices are in Swiss Francs, EXW (ex works).

Articles

  • If a product is not available at the time of shipment, it will be sent subsequently or the order will be cancelled, depending on the choice of the customer.
  • In Switzerland, the purchase of tobacco is prohibited by law to persons under the age of 18. When buying such products, you confirm that you are 18 or older.

Confirmation of orders

  • The contract comes into force when the customer has placed an order and the order has been accepted electronically. An order cannot be completed or cancelled once it has been processed by the logistics centre.

Payment

  • Payment by credit card, TWINT or PostFinance Pay.
  • If a payment deadline is not respected, we reserve the right to suspend subsequent orders and to bill reminder costs.
  • Any customs duties or other costs incurred during importation are at your charge; we recommend you obtain all necessary information before placing an order.
  • We reserve the right to examine the solvency of a customer; by ordering, the customer agrees to such an examination. We may require advance payment or a guarantee before shipping, and may cancel or suspend an order in case of insolvency, unpaid bills or well-founded suspicion of fraud.

Delivery

  • Deliveries are made worldwide — free in Switzerland; Europe €25 standard / €59 express; rest of the world €129 standard.
  • After confirmation of the order, the articles are delivered to the delivery address indicated by the customer.
  • We do our best to dispatch products within the indicated deadlines but are not responsible for delays.
  • No delivery on Sundays and bank holidays.
  • If the customer is absent at delivery, and absent contrary instructions, products may be deposited in front of the door, or delivered to a third party indicated by the customer at the time of ordering.
  • We guarantee the quality of our products up to delivery at the customer's address; from that moment, responsibility lies with the customer.

Returns

  • The customer becomes responsible for the products once delivered, even if deposited at the door or with a neighbour in their absence.
  • Complaints about the quality of the delivery are accepted up to 5 days after reception of the merchandise.
  • Products ordered by mistake can be returned at the customer's cost.

Applicable law and jurisdiction

Swiss law applies to the present sales conditions. The user renounces the judicial tribunal of their place of residence and recognises the exclusive competence of the tribunals of the canton of Geneva and of Switzerland.
